Uninstal folders in Windows folder?

  Ancient Learner 17:27 22 Apr 05

I have some 42 files, prettily named in blue in my Windows folder called in one case MS131 and the remainder Nt uninstall. I suspect that these concern the installation of SP2 which was successful. I have a very vague memory, therefore probably faulty, that I can delete these files now. but is that correct.

If they start with $ they are files to allow you to unistall updates.

If the update has not given any problems then safe to delete.
