Unexpected folders in Explorer

  Farleyjim 19:20 20 Aug 04

I've just opened explorer and discovered 28 folders in the Windows folder(written in blue) which are called "$NtUninstallKB810217$" Each folder has a different number after the word "uninstall". I did a Windows update recently which went wrong half way through. Could that have anything to do with it and is it safe to delete them?

These are Microsoft updates that you have applied.

NTFS files are highlighted in blue if they are compressed, in green if they are encrypted and those in red can only be accessed by Windows.
