I am changing from cable broadband to Sky ADSL connection, I`ve been told that I don`t need to physically connect the wireless modem/router (NetGear DG834GT )to my PC, is this correct ?, I know if it is I`ll need a wireless adapter for my PC and connect thru` that, if its wrong I`ll have more wires/cables trailing around the house. Thanks for Any advise and help, Tom

It is usually necessary to connect the PC to the router by ethernet cable to perform the initial configuration. Once set up, you can connect "wirelessly" so there will be no physical connection between the two.
