Unable to uninstall programmes

I run windows xp home on an amd 64 3400 with 1GB Ram. I have been trying to clean up my hard drive to create space by using the add/remove programmes. Some programmes will just not go away. Nothing happens when I click remove. I have installed Innovative Advanced Uninstaller 7.5.3 from the October cover disk. I had to force the removal but this has not got rid either. It's just removed them from the visible list in said programme! These are not dangerous files - they are epson printer software programs.

Is there something I am doing wrong, or a good way to clean out programmes that I do not know of?

Thanks

Hi, run RegScrub, usually sorts out most problems.

Also - run the Disk cleanup wizard - right click on desktop, go to Arrange icons by, then click on Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard.

Cheers
