Unable to Secure Wireless Network

I've just managed to set up a laptop wirlessly (the only computer in the house) to VirginMedia Broadband using a Belkin Router.

It all works fine but at no point did the installation CD offer me to secure the network. As a result, I can't find how to do this. There must surely be some option somewhere.

Also, should I or shouldn't I tick an option that says "Network Authentication (Shared Mode)" ?

In your browser's address box enter click here which should take you to the router's setup page where you can set the encryption, password and so on.

Thank you VoG - I'll try that.
