Unable to save ie6 favourites to back folder

I have no problems backing up favorites from firefox. But using the import/export wizard in IE6 fails at the end of the wizard procedure saying unable to save favorites.

Do I have to alter any security settings to allow this?

Have NIS,Spybot,A2,Adaware SE,MS Antisyware, installed.

Any offers of help please.

Next time you back up include windows-favourites.

I back up my folders manually to a dvd rw. I copy the folders over from explorer to the DVD. but something is blocking the favorites folder and the wizard for ie6. I am lost as to what setting to temp change to allow this.
