this happens when file named "install.log" is missing from program folder. This file contains information about what files were copied during installation and is required to uninstall the program automatically using "Add/Remove program" applet. The "install.log" file may get deleted by some disk cleanup software that delete all files having .log extension. If you open your program installation folder and there is no "install.log" file there, then you can't automatically uninstall the program through Add/Remove.
I think you will need something like
Revo Uninstaller click here it is freeware.
When using Revo, at the point where you are asked if you want to re-start your PC, DO NOT restart. Let Revo continue, when it gets to the Option to Select All and to Delete, DO SO. After clicking on Finish re-start the PC.
