unable to play downloaded movies?

can you help me as i have downloaded a film off the net(winmx) but am unable to play it. i have windows xp and media player but it only plays the sound, so i have downloaded another film and its the same, do i need another program? or do i need to down load something else?
and where is the best place for film and music downloads

Not the best place to look for help on playing copyrighted films mate!

However you just need a codec go to click here and also make sure you get an xvid codec as well.

Download and install avicodec and it'll tell you what codec was used to compress the movie and hence what you will need to view the illegal pirated copy of film that's probably extremely dodgy quality and not what you actually wanted in the first place. :-)
