Don't know if this is the right place to ask but I can't log in to my Yahoo Mail.I've done nothing significant with my computer since it's happened and it's been like this for days.I can log into the account on a friends computer, but with mine, the Firefox inidcator button just goes round and round for ages. No other website is affected.I've tried CCleaner and also turned off my firewall.Anyone know what else I can try?
Try clearing out your cookies.Marv
DOne that.In fact, I've just looked up places like this :click hereMaybe that explains it.
Had the same problem and solved it in a round about way (temporarily I hope).Installed Google Chrome. Made Yahoo my home page. Then accessed mail without difficulty.Good luckSajeev
Are you going in from a shortcut ? Try going to Yahoo mail manually, and see if you can log in that way. Worked for a friend of mine.click hereMarv
No, MarvintheAndroid, I'm not working from a shortcut - even going directly to the Yahoo website has no effect. The Google Chrome method doesn't work for me either.
Try going in using internet explorer instead of firefox.Marv
Tried IE7 too - same problem - can't log in.
You could try setting up Outlook Express to collect your Yahoo mail using POP. At least you would get your mail.Beyond that, no more suggestions I'm afraid.Marv
Don't know how to configure Outlook Express to collect the Yahoo mail. It's already configured for VirginMedia. Do I have to delete this? What settings will I need?
