I'm having nightmare with my digi-camera. When I connect to my pc (WINDOWS XP) my system recognises the camera as removable disk but it will not show the files contained on my camera, although it has in the past. I took my camera to work and the folder and files within it showed up straight away. I,ve tried uninstalling driver but to no avail also been through troubleshooter without much joy. Would appreciate any advice.

Just an idea, you may have already checked. My HP camera has two options in the set-up menu to show the camera to the computer as either a digital camera or a disk drive. Your PC seems to recognise it as a disk drive but might be worth checking that the camera setting hasn't reverted to the default setting, which, on mine, is the "digital camera" setting.
