Unable to delete folder

I use XP. Guess some time ago I downloaded an update and saved in a folder called d1c6f676776e2d60aba0. When I try and delete folder as I saved on a back up drive I get error message "cannot delete eula.txt Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not write ptotected and that the file is not currently in use"

Any ideas what the folder contains and how xan i delete the file and all it's folders?

Open folder right click on eula.txt, select properties and check attributes at bottom of page, may be read only or hidden untick boxes then see if it will delete.

Thanks Fruitbat, there are 3 files in the same folder, none are read only or hidden. all tick boxes are unchecked.

You could try deleting the files and then the folder. Also try Shift-Delete; this will stop the files being put in the recycle bin.
