Unable to connect to the internet

Hi all, I have a WI-fi network at my home (using Edimax broadband router). In the past couple of days I've been unable to connect my Iphone and my laptop to my home WI-fi network. No problem with the connection of the host computer (which is connected to the ADSL modem and the router. Do I need to buy a new router or is there anything I can check or do before that? Thanks!

Start with the laptop and check all settings to the network are the same.

As rickf says check to make sure the settings are correct. Try removing all traces of wireless connections on the laptop, attach your laptop to the router by ethernet cable to establish a connection. When this is established, disconnect and try connecting wirelessly again.

Make sure the WiFi button on your router is enabled and router is broadcasting it (should be a light on router WLAN to indicate it's active)
