The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild review: Five hours with Zelda on the Nintendo Switch
Recently reformatted computer and installed wireless USB dongle to connect to BT internet Home Hub. When trying to connectto the internet, the info displayed confirmed a good signal strength / BT hub connected (checked by connecting another computer to hub)and confirmed by entering the IP of the home hub into browser, but whilst it was sending packets it was not receiving. Tried opening IE / Google but nothing opening.
After many attempts to connect it did eventually connect (somehow?) and I loaded Windows Updates (Custom option selected). After restarting computer, this connecting problem has returned and I am unable to connect. Tried clicking 'Repair' but doesn't work ('unable to renew IP')
Do you have any ideas on what the problem might be. Things to check etc?
1. Their correct

Did you set up the Lan card and your browser to access the router?
If any firewalls are installed on any of the PCs, uninstall them.
This includes Zone Alarm, Sygate, Kerio, Norton Internet Security, Zero Knowledge Freedom, Cisco VPN Client, F-Secure, McAfee Firewall, Trend Micro, etc.
In many cases, disabling the firewall is not enough; you have to actually uninstall it.
Do not install or re-install the firewall until after you have the network functioning properly

Start your web browser. Select “Tools” then “Internet Options”.
In the “Internet Options” screen, there are three selections:
