unable to connect to internet

hi my aunty as a old flatbed style computer..ive tried to connect her to the internet.using isp discs..they will not load when put into the drive..or it tells me the running speed of the computer is not enough..now is it because the machine is old..or can this be rectified..curently she as win 95 installed.with a 56 k modem..obviously if this is going to cost ..then she may be better getting rid..i suppose a reformat will not help..please can you help..cheers garry.

Do you know the processor (CPU) speed and how much memory is fitted?

You don't need to use the software to make a connection, I'll explain if you wish, but first, the specs. to see if it's feasible.

Can you download this program Belarc Advisor click here it's small enough to fit on a floppy, I think. Run it on your Aunts PC and it will give all the info that will be requested here. TR
