I am fed up with US English Windows. Why can't MS distrbute a UK English version? After all the do a Swedish version for the 9 million Swedes, there's 60 million of us!!

How can I hope to teach my kids good Englsh when every time they go to the computer they see Center, Favorites, color etc.

Does anyone know of a way to make Windows UK English?

Try Start>Settings>Control Panel>Regional Options and you should be able to select English (United Kingdom).

Control Panel, Regional and Language. Set to English, United Kingdom.

Yes but it doesn't change the US Spellings eg go to help and you get the help and support center not centre

I can live with that. I'm sure your kids will realise by now that Americans spell some words slightly differently to us. You should hear how they pronounce 'aluminium'!
