Hi

WINXP SP3

Does anyone know if it's possible to type a tick symbol? If it is, can you tell me how to go about it please?

Lower case letter 'a' in webdings font.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character map > Wingdings2 font has a tick.

I doubt it'll work here though: P

I don't have 'Wingdings' or 'Wingdings2'! Yes I know I can get it, but isn't it a fact that receiver's can only see the 'font' or 'type face' used by the sender if they too have that same 'font'? If I don't have then it follows that other people might not have it either. So I wouldn't know what they were actually seeing?

I actually use 'Word Pad' when I scroll through the fonts, it only shows the fonts I actually have on my PC. I don't have Webdings or Wingdings.

Winxp sp3 would normaly have those fonts in notepad, google 'fonts download for windows xp' and you have plenty of options.
