two operatig systems

my pc has2 x40gb hard drives,
drive c has win982ed and drive d is slave

can i install another operating system onto drive d, so that i can have drive c-win982ed. drive d either win2000,me or xp, so that i can compare the different operating systems.

Yes it's not a problem, BODS. Insert the New Windows CD, direct it to clean install on the D drive and follow the onscreen instructions. It will create a boot menu, so that on start up, you get the choice of which OS to load. It will default after 30 secs to load the newer OS, if you don't choose yourself.

If you want Win98 to "see" the the second drive, BODS, make sure and install your new OS as FAT32 rather than NTFS.
