Hi my gfx card currently has a VGA port and a DVI port. and my monitor is connected via vga, if i had a second monitor and decided to connect it to the dvi, port by using a dvi to vga adapter, would this be easy to set up and would i need additional software. Thanks.

you dont need any extra software, just make sure you are using up to date drivers for the card.

not familiar with nvidia cards but with ati cards its easy to set up another monitor, extended desktop or clone it.

click here should be something similar for nvidia cards.

yes it would be simple and no you wouldnt need additional software. (ps.The price range on vga-dvi adapters is incredible from 2 pounds up to 20 pounds , I use a cheap generic one from dabs with no problems)
