two hard drives, one with vista, the other with xp

my setup

hard drive C vista (master)
hard drive D storage (slave)
hard drive E via controller card
this one i want to put xp back on

how easy is it to configure

the problem with that is it doesnt give instructions for separate hard drives. i dont want both os on the same disk, iwant one on one hard drive and one on the other hard drive.

1. insert your Windows XP setup disc and restart your system again to boot from your XP CD and install Windows XP when It gets to the part where it says install to: choose the E drive.

This will then stop vista from booting as XP will overwrite the Vista boot files.

2. Then follow this gude to re-estblish the Vista boot and allow dual booting. click here
