Twin disks with data entry duplicated on both

I have found that I am running out of space on one of my HD's and found that data entry of docs, spreadsheets, emails etc is being copied automatically onto it as well the second disk which is where I want it to be.

I have tried to start deleting the offending folders but I get the message "Cannot delete-access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full, or write protected or the file is not currently in use"

Where do I look in the system to alter this what appears to be an automated backup?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have a RAID1 system in operation, BernardG.

Could be !!

How do I get into it & what do I do then?

Ignore that previous response - I just wasn't thinking.

All sorted now thanks
