Tweak UI query

I've been using Tweak UI for years with no problems, especially liking the ability to remove the little arrows from shortcut icons

Yesterday I popped it onto our server via Remote Desktop, and it got rid of the arrows, but has altered the way that the desktop looks. It seems as if the resolution has suffered so icons are not as detailed (although jpgs etc are fine) Also the recycle bin has a different icon

Checked in "properties", "settings" and found that I can't alter the resolution as a possible fix (only gives 1024 x 768)

Any ideas?!

Does your server run XP? It's only designed for XP.

Probably not!

Thought that might be the reason - so how do I undo the effect of it? (Can't find Tweak in list of programs that I could delete, and guess it's already changed registry settings?)
