TV picture quality with computer burnt slide shows

I use windows live movie maker and dvd maker to produce a dvd of photos to show on TV.I use the highest quality option for the burn -720dp--but the picture quality on TV is very inferior to on the PC. By itself the TV prioduces an excellent picture, as does the DVD player and TV together when playing either a commecial DVD or a DVD made by the DD recorder/player. The pictures from the computer burnt DVD is significantly worse

The thing is a computer monitor is far finer detail, the dots per inch or pixel rate is much more than any TV even a high definition one.

It may be the size of Images that was too low Resolution when you burned them. It would work faster but the output would be poor

you need to optimize the stills first have a look on google as for resolution you can actually have too high a res on some pics
