TV on PC picture quality

I recently installed a tv capture card primarily to capture analogue video, the card does this just fine with good quality playback however when viewing live tv from a cable connection the picture is overlaid by wavy lines which I think may be correctly called moire pattern. I can see a good quality picture behind the lines so reception is OK. Picture is the same on monitor or TV out so it may just be that I bought a cheap card ( Fly TV Prime 30 FM). Any suggestions to get rid of the lines?

1. you need a very good ariel connection when using a TV card

2. Latet graphics drivers required for your graphics card.

3. check graphic card settings

4. check TV card settings

Thanks Fruit Bat,
Reception is from NTL cable.
I think I have the latest drivers but I will check.

You shouldn't see any lines - a monitor has a non-interlaced display.
