TV Out - Sapphire AIW 9800 Pro

i tried to hookup my graphics card (Sapphire Radeon All In Wonder 9800 Pro) to my tv via the TV out using a composite video leed.

the result was that i could see the desktop on the tv but when i started playing games or watching movies from my hard drive the screen just goes blank...why is this? can my TV not hack the resolution?

im using a normal TV (i mean not a plasma high definition or anything) and a CRT monitor.

how can i make the picture come up on the TV for games and movies?

I think you need to use a svideo lead and plug into a scart connector and go via a video recorder if your tv has no scart
