What sort of results are people getting with TV dongles for laptops? What are the best features to looks for?

You can pick up Freeview Channels on your computer without using a Dongle.
I am sure someone will post a few of the channels on here for you to look at.

I bought a Blaze DTV freeview usb for about £20 to use on my pc a couple of years ago. It came with a small arial which only picked up about 10 channels. So I connected it up to the main house arial and it picks up about 90 channels (including radio). The quality is really good.

Obviously an external aerial will give you the best results, but is the supplied "aerial" any good for mobile use on a laptop?

Only if you are in a good reception area

Maybe I was getting a bit mixed up but Freeview catch up TV is free.
All you need is a password and username to watch it.
