Is it possible to turn off USB power using windows scheduler in XP?

I have a usb powered light that i want to automatically switch on and off at preset times and so is this possible to do using the computers clock?

thankyou. jon.

Have a look at the link above - you could create an enable and disable reg key for USB and then set the scheduler to run 1 key for usb when you want to put it on and another scheduler for disable when you want it to go off.

but will this disable the power to the usb or just the data lines. the light uses only the power lines of the usb port, so can these be disabled too?
