Hi

My laptop motherboard recently died so it worked out cheaper to buy a new laptop.

However I have a lot of info on the old hard drive.

What do I need and how simple would it be to make this hard drive into an external hard drive and would I be able to access the files?

All links, advice and suggestions grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Price wise it looks better to actually go fore the permenant one.

Does the USB connection provide the power?

According to the technical details further down the answer is yes the USB supplies the power.
