Tuneup Utilities 09

I have recently purchased this software. It has recommend that I turn off "Administrative Share Enabled & Network access to Registry" as both present a security risk. Not heard of this before so will it indeed be best to turn both off? I run Vista home premium Thank you.

Kind regards

Sorry I can't help you with your problem.Just wondering if you purchased it from PC World or not.

“I turn off "Administrative Share Enabled & Network access to Registry"

I do when requested by “Tune-up Utilities 07” also the “Windows Media Player ID

Code” if using Windows Media Player

Ignore that last question will you.

I did not purchase from PC World. What I would like to know is simply by having Administrative Share & Network access to Registry enabled do I pose a security risk? Thank you.

Kind regards
