i just got a new phone that has an mp3 player in it and i have the memory card in an USB device so i can copy my music from my PC onto the memory card...but all it says is that i have to remove a write protection or try a different CD..i have tried many many CD's and they all say the same error.

Is there a little switch or tag on the memory stick itself that you need to move so that it's unlocked?

Are you saying that your trying to copy the songs straight from a cd. If so you need to convert them to mp3 files first.

It is not an error , the disc is telling you it is copyright protected so

OOOPS !! you cannot copy them, then of course as smiler says you will need to convert any music you want to put on your phone to MP3.
