click here Following this post you will see I got a reolution. However just now this happened again can anyone say whether I need to get rid of ZA or not. ZA has neve gave me probs before or is it connected to DX 9 and ZA?

Is it ZA 5? If so get rid and go back to version 4.5

johnsims it is 4.5 and as said earlier have run it for ages. Only thing I have done was to install DX9 for a game. The one other thing I havent done is update the NVIDIA driver dated OCT 03 I'm on the previous one. Is it maybe time for me to update that driver as well?

could be woth a try but it sounds like a conflict between DX9 and ZA.
If new nVidia drivers do not solve it I would suggest a visit to the Zone Alarm forum. There is a good search facility and lots of helpful folks who are ZA enthusiasts (I was going to say nerds, but that would be insulting)
go to the support page at click here and choose forum
