TROUBLE WITH WIFI NETWORK

The setup is a PC with wireless router, another with wifi network adapter, also a laptop. THis has been working OK until last week. The laptop and main PC work fine but the one with adapter keeps losing network connection although all the settings are good (signal strength etc). After re-setting the adapter (as a last try) there is no change. However if I do a System Restore the network comes back on line. Any ideas what may be causing this? I am about to do a third restore!! Thanks Dave

Which adaptor and what is the OS of the system having problems? It may be best to let Windows manage the connection rather than the adaptor's software.
