Trouble with 'spoolsz.exe'

  Trenchfoot 10:08 08 Oct 07

Hi . Can anyone help with the following please.
The process'spoolsz.exe is taking nearly 100% of my PCU from bootup - this can take an hour or so.
When I bring up task manager and end the process my computer reverts to its normal self.
I know that the spooler system controls the printer process so that ending 'spoolsz' means that I can not use my printer. I suspect the programme has become corrupt. Any idea anyone?

It`s a virus - take the second link and use PrevX to remove it or run your own Antivirus to remove it.

Hi Taff
Thank you for that. Unfortunately nothing was found. I am going to run my antivirus now and will get back soon.
