I have been asked by friends how to remove Trojans/Viruses from thier PC's. Whilst there is a good deal of free removal software available I have found the simplest method is to use the 'System Restore' facility to restore the system to a time before the problem occurred. Have just removed the 'Winspy' Trojan using this method. Just a thought!

That might work with some viruses but not all, some load themselves into system restore and this wouldn't work.

Might be stating the obvious but its better to stop the damn things getting in in the first place.
