Trojan Horse - Wingor.A

  orangewhiteblue 11:27 07 Feb 04

My AVG anti-virus detected a trojan by the name of Wingor.A, I run AVG and it heals it, however whenever I restart computer the damn things back again.

It is found as windows/system32updater.exe, is there any way in which I can manually remove it?

Or is there a better (free) anti-virus detector that will remove it? Is it harmful?

If using win me or win xp, disable the system restore and restart your computer, run avg again and it should now be ok, re-enable sytem restore.
