Trojan Horse Generic10.HJF

G'day all

Have just upgraded to AVG 8 and ran a scan. It came up with two identical infections in the following files :

The infection is Trojan Horse Generic10.HJF.

AVG has not quarantined the items and deleting them would appear simple, but before I do I want to know whether these are system required files. I don't think they are but not being over familiar with Vista Home I am not sure whether its supposed to be there or not.

Google search of the Trojan name does not reveal much. There seems to be a few similar but with different letters at the end instead of HJF.

I dont suppose ti says active.exe with them.If so ignore I get about 200 of them every time I run a scan.Mind you none of your 2 mentioned.

No its not an activeX result. They are all false positives from Spybot's Immune system. I take it you have Spybot too.

I cannot seem to find much about this so called Trojan. Any help would be appreciated. Have any Vista user got the files in there system?

I am starting to believe it to be a false positive. A scan on Jotti's online Malware scan shows only AVG to recognise it as a threat.
