I've picked up a virus and can't seem to get rid of it. It I'm running AVG anti virus software and a box keeps appearing saying the vrus has been detected and to run AVG. I have run it but it does not detect the virus. I have also used Trend Micros free online "HOUSECALL" but again nothing is detected. When AVG pops up it says it has detected the virus in C:\System Volume ..... followed by lots of letters & numbers and ending with .exe. I have tried doing several restore points but it says it can't restore. I'm running Windows XP Home.
