My brother has Bitdefender antivirus which found a trojan horse. It has moved it into its quarintine but can not delete it. I have also tried AVG but it can not find it to delete it. I want to get rid of it (obviously) but don't know how. What can i do?

Thanks in advance

Once a virus is move to quarentine no other program can get at it to activte it, therefore the virus is made ineffective.

If you boot into safe mode and use explorer to get to Bit defenders quarentine folder you may then bae able to delete it.
