A.V.G reports my computor is infected with the Trogan Horse Generic 2 AVS. can anyone lead me in the right direction as to its removal

Would have thought AVG would have deleted it,You could try A Squared.

Have you looked in AVG's virus vault. It usually gives all the info about it there.

Thanks for your input,have run A squared, and deleted the problems it discovered,although there was no mention of a Trojan

Was it AVG Anti-Virus you ran, or AVG Anti-Spyware,

look at avg website and put that trojan in a search box there

Normally if AVG Anti-Virus does not remove it, AVG Anti-Spyware will,I take it that you are running the 7.5 version.

Trojan is normally a Spyware problem.So although your anti-virus picked it up,it may not be able to delete it,If you dont have A.V.G.Anti-Spyware downloaded it may be worth trying it,
