Hello
Has any one experience of this free download from Microsoft for sorting out unwanted start up programs?
Thank you

I've no experience of the program you mention, but I don't know why you would need it. Basically the only programs you need to start at boot up are your real-time anti-virus/anti-spyware programs and a firewall. Anything else can be disabled from startup.

I have WinPatrol running all the time since it also blocks new startups (pop-up Allow/Deny).

But I thought I would have a look at Autoruns one day. I found it too cluttered and overwhelming.

Msconfig of course will disable existing startups.
