every time i log on Zone Alarm message says
allow Trickler_4010.exe to access the internet
i usually say no, as i do not know what it is.
can anybody tell me?

Sounds like "Gator" - use AdAware 6 to get rid of it.

Start > Run > Copy and Paste:


Click "OK", then click on "Startup" remove the tick from Trickler.exex if it's there...Click ok and reboot.

Then click here and click here downlaod, install, update and run and they will remove it - If its spyware.

Also click here run a free virus check.

Or run your own Virus scanner. If you do not have one consider this click here its free.

This is packaged with the DivX 5.03 Pro spyware edition. If you use this codec then if you take the spyware out the codec won't work.

Options then are use the free edition (quality isn't so good) or buy the Pro version.

Also Gator is packaged with loads of other stuff, but this is the only thing I have had with it in.
