Transparency scanning Epson V200

Have just purchased a V200 to scan hundreds of old 35mm transparencies. Would appreciate help on the best settings to use for a 1024 x768 monitor resolution. I use Adobe Elements 2 for adjusting photos. I scanned 4 slides and cropped the scanned strip for the separate slides. Is there an easier way. Any other advice appreciated,

I have this scanner and just use it in full auto mode to scan strips of up to 6 negatives, would imagine it would work just as well with strips of transparencies.

Thanks Weskit. You are right the auto. mode is good. The scanner does a first class job on transparencies and I am well pleased with it.
