Transferring data including OSto a new hard drive.

I have a failing hard drive (the boot drive) and want to install a new one. I have read that Acronis sell appropriate software, but wonder whether anyone has had experience of this. If so, any problems, or is there better software out there?
Any help gratefully received.

Acronis True Image is the best option in my opinion but if you buy a Seagate/Maxtor drive then it will come with a version of it if you buy a retail pack. If you buy oem (ie just bare drive) from the likes of Dabs etc then you can download from the support site. But its always worth having a full copy of Acronis.
