Transfer "My Documents" from Drive C to Drive G

  Ironmaster 10:06 29 Jul 09

I use XPSP2 and, when I partitioned the hard drive, arranged things so that "My Documents" were established in Drive G (instead of the default Drive C).

"My documents" are no longer sought for in Drive G and, when automatically created by a programme, files are once again being sent to Drive C.

I can't remember where I found the instructions to set up the folder in Drive G and can only assume that whatever link was established is now broken.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Why not just create a Send to ShortCute. put this in the shortcute folder under your user name, in Documents and Settingsa\User Name\Send To folder. All you need do is right click the folder you want to use the drag to the Send To folder above choose create Shortcute. this should show under File in you programs
