Excuse my obvious ineptitude. I have an XP PC that has almost died on me (freezes within minutes of booting up)I have subsequently bought a new PC preloaded with Vista premium and would like to transfer MS Office Word 2003, which was also preloaded on my old PC to my new PC. How does one go about this?

With impossibility unless you have the installation cd for office 2003

PS did any of the cds that you got with the old computer have office 2003 on them? otherwise consider downloading Open Office which is free and will read all your office files

Thanks for the advice. I'll have a look at Open Office.
