Transfer laptop contents to a new hard drive

Hi I need some help with transferring the contents of my current laptops hard drive to a new one. I needed a bigger hard drive so my dad picked me up one of these new samsung flashon hybrid hard drive thingies whilst away.

I have an external usb/sata enclosure I can use but I need some advice on the software. I need something that will mirror my old hard drive on to the new one, thus creating a working copy I can just put into the lappy. My current hard drive has 2 partitions, so these will need to be expanded accordingly. I have Norton ghost 2003, but I don't think that will work with Vista.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks skidzy. I see that there is a 15day trial version of Acronis, would that work?

Not totally sure about that, but certainly worth a try.

Though i would urge you to consider buying Acronis,if not just for backing up those docs and pics etc...not to mention all those settings and programs.
