I have just bought a new laptop and wondered if it is possible to transfer across my Internet Explorer Favourites?

Yes it is

if you are on IE8 click File>import/export, then click export to a file then save to USB stick!

If you cant see the menu bar, right click at the top and select "Menu bar"

Great, thanks for your help.

This won't take a great deal of space on a USB stick will it?

It will take very little space - each Favorite is nothing more than a URL (web address) and would only be about 4KB.

Thanks for the help and advice guys.

On a similar note, will it be possible to transfer across e-mails from my Microsoft Outlook?

Cheers.

If you don't have/want the Menu bar on permanently, the Alt key will toggle it on and off.
