Transfer files using 6 in 1 Card Reader

I want to transfer some files from my old computer to my new one.

Can I use my 6 in 1 card reader/writer for this with my Compact Flash card (from my digital camera)

A lot of the files I want to transfer are JPEG files but also documents, address books, Livepix files etc.

I suppose I could just try but I dont want to risk corrupting the card - so thought I would seek expert advice first.

yeah, its easy to do... you wont corrupt the card cos its designed for storing digital data. Regardless of the kind of data itself. Just make sure you can write to and from teh card before you begin the task with some demo files.

Best of luck.

You shouldn't have any problems I use a couple of Smart Media cards to transfer JPEG files and Excel documents between my PC and my laptop.

I use the Crucial 6 in 1 reader to transfer all kinds of format doc etc. Just use Explorer and drag `n` drop.
