How can I easily transfer files from my old PC to new, I could copy onto Cd's but I was wondering if there is some way I can connect them both, I do not have a network.

You can get a couple of network cards and a crossover cable.

But CD is by far the simplist option if you have a CD burner on the old machine.

Use rewritable cds if i were you mate, you can always delete them after so essentially it will cost nothing. Or ethernet cable, will cost about 25quid to do though
wont your programs and files fit onto the cd?
