Transfer complete program to new computer

I want to package complete ( properly purchased, but disk lost in house move) program from old computer to new. Bad experiences with Microsoft FAST, which doesn't seem to deal with whole programs anyway.
I think I have found a utility which will do this(Application Mover)which only works on single computer. So,could I achieve this by networking old and new computers via ethernet? If so, how, please?

you need one of the progs that take a copy of the hard disk and then installs it to the new one. Norton ghost or Acronis can do this I think.

Thanks Howard - but will those progs do only the one program? All the rest of the stuff I've reinstalled normally.

One sure way is to install the old hard drive on the new one as slave.
