Im looking to link an IP adress to whoever it is after my internet security alerted me an a block on an attempted trojan attack.

Probbo is the symantec trace service will not load on my computer for some reason.

Does anybody have another link as to where i can trace the IP to.

Thanks

Why ??

If they are an intended attacker you`ll not find much out and probably the IP given is false.

If it`s blocked, no worries !

im just curious to what/who triggered the alert.

Ive had 2 today already and ive only been online an hour.

81.78.20.144 tried with netbus trojan
81.153.132.124 tried with backdoor/subseven trojan

I no my firewall id doing the job and blocking um but im curious as to what these alerts are for!!!

At best you`ll get a company and an area.

The information is of no real value, it proves nothing. Sorry to dampen your spirits. Most people have learnt that the best thing to do is to turn alerts off, the ones you have to worry about won`t alert you anyway.
